Melinda joined Gratus as a former CPA/Auditor. Throughout her career she has held positions as a Corporate Finance Director and controller for mid-size companies. Most recently, Melinda served as Executive Director of Miami, Florida area synagogues including Beth David Congregation, Temple Emanu-El and Congregation Bet Shira.
Melinda received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw College. She is a Fellow in Synagogue Management with the North American Association of Synagogue Executives as well as an Alumna of Kellogg Jewish Leaders program at Northwestern University.
Melinda has been actively engaged in youth sports, with a special interest in working to help young women reach their potential through lessons learned on the athletic field. Melinda is the Founder of Miami Waves Softball, an organization focused on teaching leadership and life skills through sports.
Outside the office
Melinda was born in and resides in Canton, GA with her husband and dog, Raider. Her two daughters are attending Georgia State University and Georgia Tech. She enjoys quilting and other fiber arts, cheering on all levels of athletes, and spending time with her family.
